Volunteers Wanted

Serenity Peace of Mind Art School, a non-profit organization, is seeking a volunteer Art Teacher for a hybrid role, located in Hamilton, New Jersey, with flexibility for remote work.

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing art curriculum, leading art classes for students of all ages, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.  You may also be tasked with designing, setting up and organizing classroom materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field

• Experience leading art classes for students of all ages

• Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability engage with students and parents/guardians

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to design, set up and organize classroom materials and supplies. 

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchpad or other digital art software is a plus

• Must be able to pass a background check
